1972 Chevy Nomad Station Wagon.
It has a 307HP-V8 with a 3 speed Turbo Automatic attached to a posi rear.
The odometer reads 86000 miles but hasn't moved since I bought it a year ago. I bought the car as a utility vehicle but as I drove and used the car it began to grow on me.
Since I bought the car, I've replaced the front springs, shocks (all around) tires, front wheel bearings, stabilizer bar bushings, idler arm, radiator, heat thermostat, hoses and clamps, installed electronic ignition, wires, plugs, cap and rotor. I've also replaced the drive shaft, seals and "U" joint.
The gas tank was removed and cleaned as well as the sender and an inline fuel filter added.
The interior is all original. The color is green and black vinyl. The seat are bench with a tear on the drivers side seat and back but other than that it is clean. The floors are covered with the original full rubber carpet.
To look at the car it would appear to have a lot of rust but its surface rust with no holes in the floors or frame, it is very straight! All lines and corners align and match appearing to have never been hit or damaged. The tail gate will need replacing or creative repair but is fully functional as a door and as a tail gate.
Over all the car runs, handles and drives well. It is an excellent" restore as you drive car" (which I was doing) but came across another vehicle that took my interest and time away from this gem. Whoever becomes the winning bidder will not be disappointed. Please feel free to ask any questions and good luck.
